New York Philharmonic – Turnage and Beethoven

NyPhilGilbert460pxAlan Gilbert led the NY Philharmonic in a new work by Mark-Anthony Turnage and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

  • Turnage: Frieze
  • Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125

The orchestra was joined by the Manhattan School of Music Symphonic Chorus, Julianna Di Giacomo (Soprano), Kelley O’Connor (Mezzo-Soprano), Russell Thomas (Tenor) and Shenyang (Bass) for the Beethoven.
